Terms of Use

Last updated: July 22, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of calmigloo.com (the “Site”), operated by Purpose Path. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Operator and contact

Purpose Path manages and publishes the Site. The Site provides general editorial information about insurance topics for readers in Canada. Purpose Path is not a licensed insurer, insurance broker, or financial advisor unless expressly stated on a specific page.

2. Informational nature of content

Articles, tables, quizzes, and tools on the Site are for general information and education only. They are not personalized insurance, legal, tax, or financial advice. Coverage rules, premiums, and regulations vary by province and change over time. Always verify details with a licensed professional and your insurer before making decisions.

3. Advertising and partnerships

The Site may display sponsored articles, advertorials, quizzes, and calls to action that link to third-party partners such as PolicyAdvisor. Sponsored material is identified (for example “Advertorial”, “Sponsored”, or similar). Purpose Path may receive compensation when you click a partner link or complete a partner flow. Compensation does not increase the price you pay to the partner. Partner products and services are offered by independent third parties under their own terms. Purpose Path does not underwrite, bind, or guarantee any insurance policy.

4. Intellectual property

Text, design, logos, graphics, and other Site materials are owned by Purpose Path or used under licence. You may view and share links for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting unauthorized access, introducing malware, scraping at a volume that impairs service, or using the Site for unlawful purposes.

6. Third-party websites

Outbound links (including partner links) lead to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or products. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, Purpose Path disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Purpose Path and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your province of residence.
